Our task was to give a new modern appeal to the product while respecting the traditional shape of the famous italian chocolate bar. A challenging and rewarding product design project.
The main objective was to give a strong personality and preciousness through a very distinctive shape. Moreover, we had to increase the size of the product; previous size was too small compared to main competitors.
We chose to enhance the ingot-symbol as a symbol of quality and purity, combining new concepts such as indulgence and pleasure. As final touch we added carved text in order to increase the overall premiumness.
Surface signs and fine signatures increase distinctiveness and the golden general feeling.
